The plastic is considered to be the king in the packaging world.  Every where you find is the plastic being used to pack either a small courier box or a large heavy cargo or a food packet.  The plastic packaging has gained so much of griped through out the market that it is getting very difficult to get rid of it.  However, there is a very long story behind it.  The story begins from the middle of 80’s, when the packaging field had just started.  That time, the people were not having so much of gadgets or appliances that can help them in packing or transporting things from one place to another.  All they have was, to carry them either by road or in coal engine.  However, side by side, they have to face the harsh environmental factors such as wind, rain, heat and many other things.  All these definitely affect the item that was being transported.  Then came the time of plastic, which was like a god’s gift to the human kind.  When the material was packed with the plastic, then it was safe from all the environmental factors, and also any sort of accidental or human mistakes such as jerk or tear.  The material then became very safe and reached its destination as it is.  This made the plastic packaging the very successful and best appliance in the market. owever, that time the science was not so developed and also the equipments and technology was not so developed, but now we have many options which can be used.

Then the world came to know about the harmful effects of the plastic that were not only dangerous but also unbearable.  Its popularity grew up to that extent that now the plastic is seen every where in the city.  The existence of the human race in the few decades will be in serious question if the same cycle is carried on.  And hence, the scientist came up with various other methods and ways of carrying out the packaging which are now employed and best results are also obtained.

The flexible packaging also makes use of the plastic or the plastic coated paper material.  It is another highly developed area in the packaging world.  The main advantage using this is that the material remains very safe from any sort of breakage or tear.  The material packed inside it, can be bended or can be accommodated at any place of our choice or availability.  The aluminum foils and other such materials are also used in such type of packaging.
